What is the proper psi for oil?

i often wonder this myself. what should it be during WOT, and then at idle?

i ahve an autometer electric oil pressure gauge
at idle it get just above 25psi.
at WOT i get over 80psi
just drivng around it varies usually aroun 40-60psi
This is with a b16. I know that ITR's get another 10psi at WOT, even closer to 100psi

My old 1gen Civic was 25 at idle and 55 and regular driving - at WOT it was a little over 60 - this was the mighty 62HP 1237cc non-CVCC engine from 1978

Don't have an oil pressure gauge on this car yet..those of you that do, did you use the same hole in the block where the oil pressure sensor was for the idiot light and disable it?
